Dawes Cemetery 1 - This e.v.p. was captured at Dawes Cemetery on 8/30/03. If you listen closely, you hear a male investigator and you will hear a female voice stating a three syllable word. We believe the three syllable word being said is "val-con-da." We have not yet figured out what this means.
Dawes Cemetery 2 - This e.v.p. was captured 8/17/04 at Dawes Cemetery. In this e.v.p., you will hear a male and a female investigator conversing. While they are talking you will hear what appears to be a child mildly whimpering and another child giggling. No children were present.
Fairhope Courier 1 - This e.v.p. was captured at the Fairhope Courier on 10/22/04. You will hear a female investigator state, "I'm gonna record this, ya'll," then you will hear a faint voice say, "no."
Fairhope Courier 2 - This e.v.p. was captured at the Fairhope Courier on 10/22/04. You will hear a male investigator talking. At the end of his sentence, the investigator says, "wow," then you will hear a faint voice. It sounds like the voice may also be saying "wow."
Creekwood Home 1 - This e.v.p. was captured at a private residence in the Creekwood subdivision in West Mobile on 8/20/06. If you listen closely, you will hear a faint whisper, then you will hear some people laughing in the background. We believe the faint voice is saying "Come back." It could be a message for the family who was in the process of moving out of the house.
Creekwood Home 2 - This e.v.p. was captured at a private residence in the Creekwood subdivision in West Mobile on 8/20/06. In this e.v.p., you will clearly hear a sigh. There was nobody in the room when this occurred.
Texas Cemetery 1 - This e.v.p. was captured at an undisclosed cemetery in Texas. You will hear a female investigator say, "Where's the prayer, Brian." You will hear Brian reply, "In my back pocket." After a couple of seconds you will hear a faint voice say, "Where's the prayer." This e.v.p. was submitted by MOPI affiliate Brian. Other possibilities that have been submitted by listeners: "Someone's here" and "We're still here."
Texas Cemetery 2 - This e.v.p. was captured at the same cemetery during a different visit. You will hear a female investigator in the process of describing the scene. After she says, "...its about," you will a child say, "Mama." There was no child present at the time the e.v.p. was captured. The female investigator was standing near the grave of a baby who died from a disease at the time. This e.v.p. was submitted by MOPI affiliate Brian.
Soul Kitchen 01 - This e.v.p. was captured Nov. 18th, 2006, on an investigation with the S.P.A.R.S. team at the old location of the Soul Kitchen in downtown Mobile, AL. As Mike and Paula of S.P.A.R.S. are walking out the door, you hear a voice say "Michael." There were 3 team members located upstairs but it was confirmed that the voice was not theirs.
Soul Kitchen 02 - This e.v.p. was captured Nov. 18th, 2006, on an investigation with the S.P.A.R.S. team at the old location of the Soul Kitchen in downtown Mobile, AL. In this e.v.p., you will here Gene say, "Is there anybody here that would like to say something... make your presence known?" A couple of seconds later, you will here what sounds like a male voice say, "No."
Soul Kitchen 03 - This e.v.p. was captured Nov. 18th, 2006, on an investigation with the S.P.A.R.S. team at the old location of the Soul Kitchen in downtown Mobile, AL. In this e.v.p., you will here Gene say, "Do you like me?" Right after that you will here a door slam. Gene then asks, "Was that a yes or a no?" If you listen closely, you will hear what sounds like a young child say, "Yes."
Soul Kitchen 04 - This e.v.p. was captured Nov. 18th, 2006, on an investigation with the S.P.A.R.S. team at the old location of the Soul Kitchen in downtown Mobile, AL. In this e.v.p., you will hear Paula of S.P.A.R.S. say, "We just want to know that you are here." If you listen really close, you will hear something almost inaudible, then you will hear a faint, "No."
Soul Kitchen 05 - This e.v.p. was captured Nov. 18th, 2006, on an investigation with the S.P.A.R.S. team at the old location of the Soul Kitchen in downtown Mobile, AL. In this e.v.p., you will Mike, of MOPI, ask, "How old are you?" Shortly thereafter you will hear a voice say, "13."
Soul Kitchen 06 - This e.v.p. was captured Nov. 18th, 2006, on an investigation with the S.P.A.R.S. team at the old location of the Soul Kitchen in downtown Mobile, AL. In this e.v.p., you will hear Gene (MOPI), Janie (S.P.A.R.S.), and Bren (S.P.A.R.S.) conversing. After you hear Gene say, "Huh?", you will hear a voice quickly say, "Let's go." It was confirmed that the voice did not belong to the investigators present.
Soul Kitchen 07 - This e.v.p. was captured Nov. 18th, 2006, on an investigation with the S.P.A.R.S. team at the old location of the Soul Kitchen in downtown Mobile, AL. This e.v.p. is hard to hear. You will hear an investigator say, "Is the little girl here?" If you listen closely, you will hear a faint voice say, "Get... out."
Civil War Battlefield - This e.v.p. was captured at an undisclosed Civil War battlefield in Louisiana. You will hear the female investigator say, "Is somebody already messing with me." Shortly thereafter, you will hear a faint voice say, "We are." This e.v.p. was submitted by MOPI affiliate Brian.
Historic Home 01 - (Time and location has been kept confidential per request of the owner.) This e.v.p. was recorded by a digital recorder in the front room of the house. You will hear normal activity in the background along with a loud mysterious whisper. It is unknown what is exactly being said in this e.v.p. One possible explanation is a female saying, “Nice… nice walk through.”
Historic Home 02 - (Time and location has been kept confidential per request of the owner.) This e.v.p. was recorded by a digital recorder in the front room of the house. You will hear the end of a word spoken by Paula (S.P.A.R.S.) then a male voice whisper, “Get out.”
Historic Home 03 - (Time and location has been kept confidential per request of the owner.) This e.v.p. was captured by a cassette recorder in the hallway. It sounds like an electrical interference along with a male voice saying, “Are you Michael?”
Historic Home 04 - (Time and location has been kept confidential per request of the owner.) This e.v.p. was captured on a cassette recorder in the hallway. It sounds like a female voice asking, “Can I go with you?”
Historic Home 05 - (Time and location has been kept confidential per request of the owner.) This e.v.p. was captured on a digital recorder in the kitchen. While Paula (S.P.A.R.S.) is speaking, you will hear a male voice whisper, “Because we died.”
Historic Home 06 - (Time and location has been kept confidential per request of the owner.) This e.v.p. was captured on a digital recorder in one of the side rooms. You will hear a male voice whisper something to the effect of, “Are we dead?”
Oakleigh 01 - This e.v.p. was captured at Oakleigh on September 22, 2007. If you listen closely, you will hear a male investigator (Gene) speak, then you hear a faint child's voice. There were no children present when this e.v.p. was captured.
Oakleigh 02 - This e.v.p. was captured at Oakleigh on September 22, 2007. You will hear a male say, "Is it Corrine?" After a few seconds of silence, you will hear a faint voice say "Corrine." Corrine is the name of a young lady who passed away from typhoid at Oakleigh two weeks before her wedding.
Oakleigh 03 - This e.v.p. was captured at Oakleigh on September 22, 2007. The strange thing about this e.v.p. is that it says exactly what the investigator says... prior to the investigator saying it! Listen closely and you will hear a faint voice say "I'm not feeling it now." Shortly after, you will hear a female investigator say the same thing.
Oakleigh 04 - This e.v.p. was captured at Oakleigh on September 22, 2007. You will hear Ronnie (from Oakleigh) say, "You enjoying the outdoors?" Right after, you will hear a faint voice say, "I do."
Oakleigh 05 - This e.v.p. was captured at Oakleigh on September 22, 2007. You will hear an investigator say, "What's wrong?" After a couple of seconds, you will hear, "I'm caught."
Oakleigh 06 - This e.v.p. was captured at Oakleigh on September 22, 2007. This is another fairly odd e.v.p. You will hear a faint voice say, "My name is (name is inaudible)." Then you will hear Gene say, "What's your name?"
Oakleigh 07 - This e.v.p. was captured at Oakleigh on September 22, 2007. Once again, another odd e.v.p. You will hear two male investigators conversing. As soon as they quit speaking, you will hear a voice say, "Time bomb." We are not 100% sure that is what is being said but that is what it sounds like to several different people who have listened to it.
Oakleigh 08 - This e.v.p. was captured at Oakleigh on September 22, 2007. This is a very faint and almost inaudible e.v.p. You will hear a faint voice say something. We are currently trying to determine what is being said.
Oakleigh 09 - This e.v.p. was captured at Oakleigh on September 22, 2007. You will hear a male investigator speak then suddenly you will hear a loud whispering. The whispering is the e.v.p. but we are unsure of what is being said.
Oakleigh 10 - This e.v.p. was captured at Oakleigh on September 22, 2007. This was a weird noise that was captured at the Cox-Deasy Cottage right after a female investigator asked about a baby dress that was located on the children's bed. There was no explanation for this noise.
Oakleigh 11 - This e.v.p. was captured at Oakleigh on September 22, 2007. This is another e.v.p. that says what an investigator say before they can speak it. You will hear the e.v.p. "Whoa!" Right after, you will hear Gene say, "Whoa!"
Oakleigh 12 - This e.v.p. was captured at Oakleigh on September 22, 2007. You will Gene say, "Are you with it?" Shortly after, you will hear a very very faint voice say, "Yes."

The Marble Incident - This video was captured at an undisclosed farmhouse in North Mobile. When watching the clip, you will hear a "pop" sound. This was caused by a marble that mysteriously appeared in this room and hit the wall. Unfortunately when transferring this clip to the site, some quality was lost and it is near impossible to see the marble. The story behind this clip is that an investigator had set several marbles in the room across the hall from this room. This room only contained a doll. A few minutes after the doors were shut, one of the marbles from the other room mysteriously appeared in this room and hit forcefully against the wall to the left.
Closed Hospital - This video was captured at a closed hospital in West Mobile. When watching the clip, listen very closely. You will hear low talking and then what sounds like someone lightly clearing their throat. This happened right behind my right ear. I was bringing up the rear, so I know for a fact that nobody was behind me. The ground was cluttered with debris, so you will see me take a step or two to clear the debris, then I turn around to see if anyone was behind me.
Civil War Battlefield 1 - This video was captured on 07/02/06 at an undisclosed Civil War battlefield in Louisiana. You will see the camera being moved by the investigator present. While the camera is moving, you will hear a short series of groans. Brian, the investigator present, did not make these sounds. He discovered them on playback. This video was submitted by MOPI affiliate Brian.
Civil War Battlefield 2 - This video was captured at the same location listed above. In this video, you will hear a series of loud tapping. No one was present when this occurred! This e.v.p. was submitted by MOPI affiliate Brian.
